From Sweden

Born in the University town of Lund in Sweden, Lina grew up in a family that valued that encouraged her love for performing and with two brothers who taught her everything they knew about music and film.
From the age of four the family spent every summer in Clearwater Beach Florida.

In school Lina took extra piano lessons & in her early teens her brothers taught her how to play the guitar - and around 14 she started writing her own songs.

During high school she came into contact with musical theatre. While studying behavioural science, music management, and entrepreneurship at Lund University she also wrote, preformed in and produced several musical productions. She came up with an immersive musical, theme of 1920’s America and Al capone, placing the scene in the middle of the crowd with no backdrop, and no backstage. She successfully pitched the idea to one of the major venues in Lund and got it produced.

Through a mutual friend’s birthday party, Lina started playing regularly with two bluegrass musicians who introduced her to the world of pub gigs. This is what she credits truly strengthened her vocal talent - by being on stage for 3-4 hours a night.

Throughout her twenties Lina sang bluegrass, country and jazz. She also started dancing - starting with salsa, which then evolved into other genres and landing her a spot in a performance group that worked throughout the south of Sweden. They performed at everything from Christmas shows in local shopping malls to performing in front of 15.000 people during Eurovision Week in Malmö 2012.

to romania

In September 2013 Lina made the decision to move to Budapest to study Hungarian for 6 months. It would be a defining decision in her life.
6 months later she started a new career path as a guide, and was sent to Transylvania, Romania. She fell in love with the country instantly.

Over a dinner with friends, quite unexpected, Lina and her musician Gustav realised they both had a dream about making a song for Eurovision Song Contest. They started writing together.
In 2017 the country that accepted their song “After you” was coincidentally Romania. Lina took a flight to Bucharest and performed in the 2017 preselections.

The following year, 2018, Lina came back to the same competition now ending up in the semi-finals in Focsani with “A love worth falling for”
The same year her Romanian friends encouraged her to apply for The Voice of Romania (vocea romaniei) where she joined team Smiley.

After The Voice, with new connections and collaborators Lina decided to make Bucharest her base. She joined a film acting studio, led by acting coach Nicoleta Petcu. She started working with producers in Hungary, Moldavia and Romania.
In 2020 she released the singles “You” and “Hold on to fire”

In 2021 and 2022 her focus turned to acting, appearing in commercials, playing the antagonist in the short film 115, having a part in the upcoming film “Kickstarter” during the autumn of 2022 she’s been playing the character of Josephina Stein in the play “Arta din Drama mea”

But music will always be Linas true love. Her latest single is called “Queen”, a beautiful uplifting pianoballad.
And in December 2022 she is releasing “Another” with fellow The Voice contestant Acapella.
