It all started when…

“For years my parents had an old notice board hanging in the kitchen - filled with reminders of appointments, school schedules, photos and most importantly: artwork of varying quality by us kids. My contribution was a big colorful self-portrait I’d made during a class assignment where underneath the image it was written “I want to be an artist in Sweden and the USA”.
At the time, we often spent the summer holidays in Florida, which would explain the location specificity.
Now, I didn’t become the kind of artist I might have thought back then, painting and drawings have never been my strong suit. And though I did go to Nashville to sing, I’d say my career is still mainly in mainland Europe.

Yet. Here I am, a few decades later: An Artist (an actress, a singer, a composer) and not only in my home country Sweden but getting to work in international projects across the continent.

THE YELLOW TIE // CRAVATA GALBENA

Film following the life of renowed Romanian conductor Sergiu Celibidache. In Romanian theatres 14th of November 2025 - International release dates coming soon.

The film has a star studded cast: John Malkovich (as Sergiu Celibidache), Miranda Richardson (as his wife Ioana) & Sean Bean (as his father)
Lina plays Maria Celibidache, the mother of Sergiu.

From Nashville-influenced country, to 90’s alt rock and big Broadway Musicals - all have had an impact on Lina’s voice.

In 2018 she participated in The Voice of Romania as well as Eurovision Romania. You can find a few of her original songs on the major streaming platforms.
